Tuesday’s concert

Join us in the Concert Hall at West Road, Cambridge for an evening of (largely) British Romantic music. Showcasing primarily the music of British composers from the mid-20th century, the Rossetti Ensemble celebrates the work of several composers whose archives are held here at Cambridge, along with contemporaries and influences.

One of the composers featured, William Alwyn, was a keen and knowledgeable collector of Pre-Raphaelite art, so it is very appropriate that our artists for tonight should be the Rossetti Ensemble – pianist John Lenahan, violinist Sara Trickey, violist Sarah-Jane Bradley, cellist Tim Lowe, and friends.

Many thanks to the Delius Trust and the William Alwyn Foundation for their assistance in supporting this event.
